White Dutch Oven Bread
This white dutch oven bread, takes about 5 hours to make! It's very similar to a white bread.
With the cast iron dutch oven, I will heat up the dutch oven for an hour prior to adding in the dough, then when the hour is up, I add the double and bake for up to 45 minutes! This allows the steam to stay trapped inside the dutch oven, ensuring a nice texture inside and out! This technique is used to make delicious artisan-style loaves!
