Description: In this fun and interactive class, students will learn the basics of cartoon drawing and charcoal techniques. We will cover fundamental concepts such as proportion, perspective, and shading, and students will have the opportunity to practice these skills by creating their own unique cartoon characters and charcoal drawings. This class is suitable for students of all skill levels, and no prior experience is necessary. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in cartoon drawing and charcoal techniques and will be able to create their own dynamic and expressive artwork. Age Range: 10 years old and up Duration: 6 weeks, with one 1.5-hour session per week. 30 minutes instruction 1 hour of exploration and practice. Materials: Students will need to bring a sketchbook, pencils, an eraser, and a set of charcoal sticks or pencils to class. All other materials will be provided. Class sizes are limited, and are available on first come basis.
